DIO® is a total body, high energy, cardio dance workout that is infused with all styles of dance including; Hip Hop, Bollywood, Ballroom, Disco, 80’s, Broadway, African, Russian, Latin, Irish, Hula, and so much more. While it is the most fun you will ever have working out, you will get in the best shape of your life. The weight loss results have been tremendous but nothing is as overwhelming as the energy and positivity from the students. Unlike most intimidating dance/fitness classes, DIO is a non-judgmental supportive environment where students of all fitness levels, ages, shapes and sizes have the time of their lives while getting fit. For the toning section we use light dumbbells for toning the arms during class. Near the end of class we will begin our mat work. You’ll strengthen your core, tone your hips and thighs and flatten your abs! We will work the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine (the “core”), to improve posture, increase flexibility and develop better balance.
